Watch as the art of Japanese calligraphy is performed by a master.
Midori Kono Thiel is a local artist who has been studying traditional Japanese arts for over 50 years. Her work in sumi-e, Japanese ink painting, has been displayed at exhibitions in the United States and in Japan.
We are very excited to have Midori join us to demonstrate her work as part of our free First Thursday program. Entry to the garden will be free from 3PM until close, and Midori's demonstration will begin at 5PM.
