The koi in the Seattle Japanese Garden are awake from their winter hibernation and ready to eat. For our May Family Saturday on May 12th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., we’ll have free koi food, crafts, and a koi presentation and Q & A by the Washington Koi & Water Garden Society.
Admission to Family Saturdays is now free from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all youth 12 and under!
“A Year in the Japanese Garden” a watercolor exhibit by the Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Dementia-Friendly program will be on display in the Tateuchi Community Room.
