Join us for Garden Party - Festival for the Senses, the evening of music, art, Japanese food and drink in the lush and tranquil setting of the garden that will awaken your senses like never before!
This intimate evening in the garden will feature the music by arx duo, a seattle based percussion group, who is dedicated to the expansion of the percussion chamber music repertoire through the creation and presentation of new works. The program for the evening will include works from their new album, Ambient Resonances, with a variety of sound and compositions inspired by nature.
In the Tateuchi Community Room, works by Takayuki Ishii of Awonoyoh, a visiting indigo dye and katazome artist from Japan, will be on display.
A traditional Japanese bento box prepared by chef Kanako of Kozmo Kitchen — using carefully selected seasonal ingredients — will delight your taste buds.
